Monitor troubleshooting
Sometimes when no picture or image appears on the monitor, we feel like panicking. Well, we can’t assume our machines to be working all the time, so it’s best to check every now and then.
Find out if the monitor is plugged and its power is turned on. Look at indicator lights for clues. Confirm if the monitor cable is attached to the video port on the back of the CPU. If there is no problem with the connection, try adjusting the settings – brightness, contrast, horizontal, vertical views and so on. If all these don’t work, try connecting the monitor to another computer. For all you know, it might be your pc that is not working or is having trouble.
